Enviropool has been recognised by the Merseyside Social Enterprise Network at their glittering inaugural award ceremony held in Liverpool Town Hall, by winning the Schools Enterprise Award 2012.

It is a true honour to be given this award, which recognises Enviropool as a 'Social Enterprise', a business that gives back to its community. It was gratefully accepted on behalf of all those people who gave up their time and effort in order to make enviropool possible throughout last year.

We have been awarded the 'Entrepreneur Award' at the Liverpool Echo 'Its Our World' Environmental Awards for 2012. The award was received from Dianne Oxberry at a glittering ceremony in the wonderful Isla Gladstone Conservatory in Stanley Park, on 18th May 2012.

The enviropool team were invited to showcase the business to competition mentors and other schools on 2nd February. They went along to a posh new office development in the city centre, 4 St Pauls Square and set up their 'showcase'. Enviropool is supporting the charity the British Heart Foundation and is this week selling its products in the BHF shop in Widnes town centre. A visit was made to the shop today to set up and get sales underway. 'Artie Beat' was there on hand as were volunteers and staff from the shop. Thanks to Alison Doyle for arranging this for us.
